Alissa, thanks a ton. You are a life-saver. I'm a Linux newbie and wanted to setup a sample ldap server to test. It took me the whole of today to stumble upon Alissa's post to get something working. I'd very much like OpenLDAP to work out of the box. And documentation to support the version of OpenLDAP that's released.
