Since I switched to Ubuntu 9.10 I have the Gnome Network Manager showing a 
signal strength of 2/4, while it was 4/4 on Ubuntu 9.04. Also iwconfig says 
40/100.
I'm not close enough to the router to have a full field, but I'm sure that 
should be quite close to it (at least 80/100).
I'm using an USB wifi dongle with zd1211 chipset:

[   16.467798] zd1211rw 1-1:1.0: zd1211 chip 0ace:1211 v4802 high

I'm not sure this is related to the same bug.
