Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

Hello. I'm upgrade my ubuntu x64 from 9.04 to 9.10. The ubuntu 9.10 is
very nice, but timed autologin isn't work as is necessary. The timed
autologin works, when ubuntu is loaded after reboot or shutdown, but
after logout he doesn't work, and I should enter the password by hands.

My "/home" isn't encrypted.

These commands have not helped me:
sudo update-rc.d -f gdm remove
sudo update-rc.d gdm defaults

P.S. Sorry for my poor English

** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
