Public bug reported: Under Ubuntu9.04 the movie player worked fine. Under 9.10 trying to play *.mp4 or *.mov files results in the video being either "jerky" or freezing altogether. It seems nothing unfreezes it. Have not tried other video formats. Machine is an Acer Travelmate 243XC (old circa 2004/5)
