This has been fixed in libgpod git (see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=599772#c24).
Is this likely to be imported into Karmic or would it be better for Ubuntu to patch it? Details of the fix: change line 661 of itdb_device.c from: { "3RO", "B754" }, /* 8GB Black Nano 4g */ to { "3R0", "B754" }, /* 8GB Black Nano 4g */ (ie with a zero instead of an O). -- rhythmbox corrupts ipod database for black 8GB ipod nano (B754) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/461639 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
