I use profile Analog stereo output without input device.even if using line in noise remains. (I hope to understand you correctly? about snd-hda-intel line in.) /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf -- Power down HDA controllers after 10 idle seconds options snd-hda-intel power_save=10 power_save_controller=N -- I hear some noise after 10 sec. when i change option snd-hda-intel power_save=20 (after restart) then i hear noise after 20 sec. I think problem in power save mode
