Hi Pedro,

It seems that some how I had some empty post-installation script so I
created some very basic empty ones then I was able to uninstall the
package and reinstall it. Since then I have upgraded to 9.10. But thanks
for you response

Have you checked that the terminal command to run (in the terminal
profile's preferences) are correct? Does stracing the gnom-terminal
startup reveal anything about this failure?
