Same here on an Acer 7730 laptop and on a HP DV2000 laptop. No networking possible (wifi nor hard wired). Heard the with wicd networking would be possible again but for a novice installing wicd without internet connection proved to be too hard. Last clean install carried out with live CD downloaded november 6. Hope this bug will be solved soon because Koala Karmic looks very good and can' t wait to give it a try.
