>From what I can tell, that file remained unchanged (I'll attach the file
from my 8.04 system backup). Besides, I had that partition neither
configured in /etc/fstab nor in /etc/crypttab. Instead, it was mounted
through a quick-n-dirty modification of the bootmisc.sh script,
triggering "/sbin/mount.crypt /dev/sda7 /home". Simple, but effective.

I have tried that before and it didn't work.
