I have the same problem with freshly installed Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala
64bit. I can reproduce it within 10 minutes with lots of network traffic
(deluge torrrent download). Hang happens soon after line: "CE: hpet
increasing min_delta_ns to 15000 nsec" in /var/log/messages. There comes
other info soon after that, seems like kernel writes the modules
currently loaded, content of registers and so on, but nothing of it is
committed to disc and is lost after crash, I tried running sync in 5s
loop to get messages saved but it does not help :(
