Yes, this is correct. The version that was released with karmic does not work with the other userspace parts. I have already fixed this in a newer release, in Debian (version 0.0.18).
http://packages.debian.org/changelogs/pool/main/u/usbmount/current/changelog#versionversion0.0.18 I would suggest that you get your version from Debian in the mean time that Ubuntu does not update the package. I am, BTW, working to clean up the code and will quite probably upload a new version (0.0.19) real soon now (TM). ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #548627 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=548627 ** Also affects: usbmount (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=548627 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Changed in: usbmount (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Committed ** Changed in: usbmount (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Rogério Theodoro de Brito (rbrito) -- usbmount cannnot execute /lib/udev/vol_id https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/478487 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
