Stefan: Thanks for your explanation. I have used this way of work in a couple of years and it worked fine until i upgraded to Ubuntu 9.10.
I expect this to work, since it used to. Now it no longer works. So I would say this is a regression rather than "working as expected". This issue didnt occur before subversion and gnome-keyring was integrated. Come to think of it, can those be decoupled?
