It is with much egg on face, I have to admit that I can no longer reproduce the problem. Maybe I neglected to reboot when user was joined to audio group and pulse never benefited from the change,, *shrugs*. Either way, I thank you kindly for your time.
A question, if I may, rather than open new bug :) It has come up from time to time in the past on the mailing list that people do not want to grant console users permission to raw devices. Easy enough to do back in the Hal/policykit days, but I cannot understand how to do so now with udev, since the rules that identifies the devices and applies the acl are all in 70-acl.rules, which should not be modified. -- audio cuts off when switching vt https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/480261 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
