Since I now do some audio recordingToday I've installed deb packages from
getdeb for Jaunty which I've used on Jaunty before upgrade to Karmic.
I've tested both audacity_1.3.8-1~getdeb1_i386.deb (with
aaudacity-data_1.3.8-1~getdeb1_all.deb) and
audacity_1.3.9~beta1-1~getdeb1_i386.deb on Karmic and every version works just
like the 1.3.9-6 version in Karmic (just few percent of CPU usage by Xorg on
Jaunty and ~95-100% CPU usage on Karmic - the same audacity packages on both
Kubuntu versions on the same hardware) so it doesn't look like audacity bug.
Now I'll try to check what's the problem with gdb (but I'm not too familiar
with it).
