Public bug reported: I have a Fujitsu Siemens B Series laptop (500 MHz CPU, Ati Rage Mobility gfx card). On 9.04 everything worked fine: I was able to set vga=0x315 to get 800x600x24 mode in console and run an app I have that's written in SDL. On 9.10 however all I get is a blank screen after adding vga=0x315 to kernel line. This is true for Grub2 and Grub legacy.
