Huh, I don't get it, why isn't this a bug? Log file viewer is throwing errors 
about files it expects to be there while it shouldn't expect them (so it 
shouldn't throw errors).
A clean install of Karmic does not throw these errors (even if the files are 
not there), an upgraded install of Karmic (from Jaunty) does throw these errors.

"Log file viewer should not throw errors about missing files it should not 
expect" is not a question.
It's not a Support request, Feature and policy discussion, Development idea as 
far as I can tell
