Huh, I don't get it, why isn't this a bug? Log file viewer is throwing errors about files it expects to be there while it shouldn't expect them (so it shouldn't throw errors). A clean install of Karmic does not throw these errors (even if the files are not there), an upgraded install of Karmic (from Jaunty) does throw these errors.
"Log file viewer should not throw errors about missing files it should not expect" is not a question. It's not a Support request, Feature and policy discussion, Development idea as far as I can tell -- gnome-system-log reports various files not found in Karmic when upgraded from Jaunty https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/481706 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
