Same problem here. I use a Dell Inspiron 6400. The Problem was after upgrade 8.10 -> 9.04 -> 9.10 at the same day. At the beginning it works good, but afer some days, the only way to use my installation is boot in recovery mode, reconfigure packages and then I can boot only one time in normal boot.
