Public bug reported: Binary package hint: ubiquity
I accidentaly generated a Live CD with some broken package. The installation then stuck at the end, at /usr/share/ubiquity/install.py. Problem resides in line 925, which is a assert without a try/exception block. As I tried bypassing it, I discovered that install will then fail later, when trying to upgrade the progress bar. The syslog which describes the error is attached. ** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- No "try" statement in ubiquity when the LiveCD has any broken package - Dapper https://launchpad.net/bugs/54282 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
