Public bug reported: Binary package hint: quickly
After initially running "quickly package", the description in the debian/control is not updated on subsequent runs, even if it changes in the setup.py file. I've made a some-what hacky patch to force an update if the Description in the file is unknown (i.e., don't clobber), but I'm not sure if it is a good idea to clobber the description every time it's run? Also, the current patch is hardcoded to "Unknown".... so this may be entirely unusable in the end I'm sorry :) ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Sun Nov 15 23:09:11 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: quickly 0.2.6 PackageArchitecture: all ProcEnviron: LANG=en_AU.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-15.50-generic SourcePackage: quickly Uname: Linux 2.6.31-15-generic i686 ** Affects: quickly (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- The Description control key in debian/control file is not updated after the initial run https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/483046 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
