I tried all possible combinations: AA off Hard Acc off, AA on Hard Acc
off, AA off Hard Acc on, AA on Hard Acc on. I raised the memory
allocated for each presentation and slide to respectively 128 Mo and 20
Mo. It was very hard to use Impress 3.1 which was very slow and often
consumed 100% of one proc. My presentation featured 33 slides with some
.eps figures embedded. I may say the problem was preventing me from
using Open Office Impress to edit my presentation. I am using Ubuntu
9.10 on a asus8jc laptop (1GHz RAM - Dual Core Intel 1.83 GHz). I was
using some days before Impress 3.0.1 without any problems, I guess I am
going to use install that version again. I really need Impress since my
presentations are now fully ODT files and I got used to this lovely
software. I started on Ubuntu 9.10 with totally a fresh install this
week end. Thank you for your attention and you precious help on that
bug.
