I built partimage on my PPA at https://launchpad.net/~dominik- stadler/+archive/ppa for Karmic and at https://launchpad.net/~dominik- stadler/+archive/dsta-jaunty-ppa for Jaunty. Both have been used successfully on 64-bit installations.
