I'm not sure these last 2 "apport-collect data" were the same problem
since there was no NetworkManager core.  All I know these are the same
types of problems I've seen since upgrading to Ubuntu 9.10 where the
GNOME display manager (I guess gdm-simple-slave) just goes away and I
need to log in again.

Two things in common with these last two times:

1.  When I try to bring Shiretoko back up, it pops up "This is
embarrassing, I can't restore all tabs...", but when I click restore all
tabs, they all come up fine.

2.  More likely relevant, I have been running a Google Android emulator
process, which crashes, but I don't see a core file.  The last part of
/var/log/syslog before the last problem was

Let me know if there are any more logs I should collect or if I should
redirect this problem elsewhere to help me resolve this.
