I was able to reproduce the problem reported by Gigi and Jean Levasseur with totem up-to-date and totem-common not updated. The problem goes away when updating totem-common. Therefore, is it possible to have your feedback again with totem and totem-common up to date?
Also all tests were done on the karmic package only, isn't there anyone to test the jaunty fix? I confirm that in my case, the jaunty fix works great here, no matter what video I try to play.
