Public bug reported: Binary package hint: audacity
I am trying to trim down a larger audio file and export my sample. I have carefully trimmed the audio from a large file (~45 minutes) down to a small sample (~5 seconds). I am trimming by either splitting and deleting or selecting and cutting. When I play the clip in Audacity, it ends at the point I intend. However, when playing back the exported file, there is extra audio at the end (perhaps 100-200ms). I did not hear this audio when the clip was played in audacity. I have tried exporting to multiple formats (mp3 and wav), but both have the extra audio. I am on Ubuntu 9.04. audacity: Installed: 1.3.7-2ubuntu1 Candidate: 1.3.7-2ubuntu1 ** Affects: audacity (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Audio file created by "Export" does not end at the correct point https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/483898 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
