did the alsamixer from term scrn unmuted and have vol too max or just
below max
went thru furoms and tried things they say there but still no sound

if turn sjpeakers on and vol at speaker is max , hear hissing sound while
computer is loading then at point before anything appears on screen
hear click sound and that is it for sound

on other version of ubuntu had to once in awhile go to vol control and
turn on switch to hear sound, annoying but could live with it, has I ddon't
always have speakers on...

new to this system and not always sure what people are saying on the forums
on how to do things , but willing to try anything if explained properly
