Thanks for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better. Could you please add the log files from '/var/log/dist-upgrade/'
to this bug report as separate attachments? There should be an apt.log
and an apt-term.log, and perhaps others as well. Thanks in advance.

update software tells me to include /var/log/dist-upgrade in bug report. were
is the facility to do this? I will probably have a dysfunctional system after
boot. Not Happy.l
