Public bug reported:

ThinkPad R50p laptop, Ubuntu LTS install, EasyUbuntu installation of additional
packages, no other repos used. Thinkpad has 1.5GB RAM and running 686 kernel.
Wireless is the built-in IBM unit based on the Atheros chipset.
Installed NM to assist with WPA wireless access. Installation, configuration
and running worked fine. Closed lid of laptop (which suspends it) and came back
an hour later. Upon resume desktop password display comes up and accepts
password. Screen restores to state prior to suspend. However, clicking on
anything (menus or items on the desktop) produces no response. Ctrl-Alt-Del to
kill X session works and provides the login prompt again. Login and everything
working fine.

This is the second time this has happened. Previous suspend (earlier
today) resumed without any issue. However, a freeze occurred yesterday
upon trying to resume after several hours.

Further note.. AP is home unit and was in range both times this
occurred.

** Affects: network-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Untriaged
         Status: Unconfirmed
