** Description changed: When I disable wifi with the button on the netbook enclosure (acer a150) it takes quite sometime before it actually stops working (about a minute). Enabling it afterwards is not working at all. I have to boot - windows to get it to enable again and than reboot in ubuntu again. + into Windows to get it enabled again. 1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu. Karmic koala (did a dist-upgrade 5 minutes ago) 2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy packagename' or by checking in Synaptic. I have tried linux-backport-drivers but this didn't make any difference. 3) What you expected to happen To enable/disable wifi instantly 4) What happened instead See above
