I have the same problem too. Am using dual boot. I installed Ubuntu 9.10 on my brother's NEC Versa E6510 and the keyboard is not working. And the CD Drive is not responding. Everything works fine when i am using vista. Not sure about the sound. Never had this problem before and and i am wondering if it is not compatible with my brother's notebook? Rofl
