Hello, My Sierra Wireless modem worked fine in 8.10 but disappeared in 9.04. The patch procedure at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/jaunty/+source /network-manager/+bug/360905/comments/8 repaired this issue. I wish the fix were distriibuted to 8.10 users without requiring a manual patch.
