Looking at the attached dpkg-log, the following line shows the following reason for this problem:
dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/language-pack-gnome-en-base_1%3a8.10+20081107_all.deb (--unpack): failed in buffer_write(fd) (10, ret=-1): backend dpkg-deb during `./usr/share/locale-langpack/en_AU/LC_MESSAGES/ekiga.mo': No space left on device "no space left on device" means that simply the disk ran out of space here, I don't think this is a problem of the package itself. Therefore I am closing this as invalid, please try to make more space available on your harddrive and then try again. If you think there is a problem with too much space usage somewhere, please create a separate bug report that provides the relevant information. ** Changed in: language-pack-gnome-en-base (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- package language-pack-gnome-en-base 1:8.10+20081025 failed to install/upgrade: failed in buffer_write(fd) (10, ret=-1): backend dpkg-deb during `./usr/share/locale-langpack/en_AU/LC_MESSAGES/ekiga.mo' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/402250 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
