*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 312491 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/312491
Looking at the attached dpkg-log, the following line shows the following reason for this problem: dpkg: error al procesar /var/cache/apt/archives/libavcodec51_3%3a0.svn20080206-12ubuntu3.1_i386.deb (--unpack): falló en buffer_write(fd) (10, ret=-1): error en dpkg-deb durante `./usr/lib/i686/cmov/libavcodec.so.51.50.0': No hay espacio libre en el dispositivo "no space left on device" means that simply the disk ran out of space here, I don't think this is a problem of the package itself but rather shortage of general disk space is the cause of this problem. Therefore I am closing this as duplicate of bug 312491 where improving the error message display is discussed, for now please try to make more space available on your harddrive and then try again. ** This bug has been marked a duplicate of bug 312491 Failure to update add/ or remove programs -- libavcodec52: upgrade error https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/382006 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
