I want to confirm this bug.

I have two computers with Ralink rt2500pci and rt2500usb wireless cards
and i cannot connect to any wireless, using both the network-manager-
plasmoid and WICD in kubuntu karmic. It workes with 9.04 in both cases
though.

The nm-plasmoid does connect to the network but fails in the assigning
IP step.

Seems to be a kernel driver regression introduced in the kernel from
jaunty to karmic (the poster before me states some alpha version when it
still worked).
