Public bug reported:

No problems with loading the 6.10 live-cd.

The screen comes with 1280x1024 resolution.
When I try to change to 1024x768 (pushing "Apply") the following happens :
- the screen changes to 1024x768 BUT "hangs" (no mouse-movement possible)
- after 5 a 10 seconds the screen disappears
- a new screen appears where I have to fill-in a username
- when I do nothing the old situation (1280x1024) appaers again after 10
seconds. I am back in the "start-situation".
