Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
Inserting audio CDs causes nautilus, rhythmbox, brasero and sound juicer to crash. I have tested with numerous audio cds, so it is not isolated to one particular CD. I tested on Ubuntu 9.10 32-bit, and Fedora 12 64-bit, and there is the exact same problem in each case. DVD Videos, data CDs, data DVDs all work perfectly. I have a Pioneer DVR-218L SATA optical drive. I did a google search of "ubuntu dvr-218L" and I found another ubuntu user with an identical problem here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=8382208. I believe it could be a hardware compatibility problem. I am not quite sure which debugging information to attach, so if more information is required, feel free to ask me for more. I want to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
