Apport can catch most crashes and submit a crash report with a full stacktrace so that we can figure out why it's crashing. We can't fix a crash without knowing why it's crashing. Apport submits a new bug, so I closed this one. You can read more about apport here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Apport
