Public bug reported: Binary package hint: wine1.2
Not sure if this also occurs in the wine package which is shipped in Karmic by default although I will check. Steps to reproduce: 1) Open a .exe file using wine 2) Observe the Places -> Recent Documents list and see the .exe is at the top of the list 3) Open one or more other documents and observe that the .exe has moved down the list 4) Launch the .exe again from the list 5) The .exe does not move to the top of the list. This is inconsistent with the behaviour of other filetypes This bug is similar in content to the bug opened for Open Office .odt files: #198537 ProblemType: Bug Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Nov 26 23:41:54 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 NonfreeKernelModules: nvidia Package: wine1.2 1.1.31-0ubuntu3 ProcEnviron: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/bash ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-15.50-generic SourcePackage: wine1.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.31-15-generic i686 ** Affects: wine1.2 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug i386 -- Recent Documents list in Places menu not updated correctly for .exe files https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/488990 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
