Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gcalctool
I would like to see an option in GCalctool to have function buttons like [√] and [sin] apply/replace the current number immediately, like regular calculators do. Well, at least my old TI-30 used to do that, and xcalc emulated that model IIRC. I prefer that to having to type the function before the rest like I were writing out the equation on paper. Where did the [x²] button go btw? It's kinda cumbersome to have to spell out x^2 all the time. ** Affects: gcalctool (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Description changed: Binary package hint: gcalctool I would like to see an option in GCalctool to have function buttons like [√] and [sin] apply/replace the current number immediately, like regular - calculators do.
