Same problem here for Toshiba A200 laptop. All fine in 9.04, but booting in 9.10 takes ages (it does boot if you are patient and also keep waiting at the prompt). For some reason it will shut down after some time.
Can anyone please fixt the next kernel release and release it ASAP?
