Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kernel-package

Description:    Ubuntu 9.10
Release:        9.10
kernel-package:
  Installed: (none)
  Candidate: 11.015
  Version table:
     11.015 0

I have a Huawei E220 USB dongle that is not working since updating to
Karmic Koala. The device is recognized as a SCSI storage device instead
than a USB modem. I can use it if I write after login;

sudo killall devkit-power-daemon
sudo killall devkit-disks-daemon

I can use it only once, if I disconnect I cannot connect again, I have
to cold boot and enter the above commands again.
