I too am having this problem. It will sometimes work 3 or 4 times but will then have problems. The only solution I have found when it happens is to do a hard reboot.
I have also noticed that the system will not fully go into sleep by just closing the lid. I believe it is related. The system will give me the login prompt asking for my password after resume from sleep (from opening the lid) but will then go back to sleep as I am typing the password in. I have gotten into the habit of just putting it to sleep via the menu before closing the lid, but it would be nice to not have to think about it. I am using the 64 bit 9.10 rather than 32 bit. This is pretty frustrating and hopefully it is a simple fix. A work around is fine too, as long as it sticks with updates. -- [Dell Inc.
