Hi there, i've the same bug, it failes getting the ip adress. I have a Asus stick This is not a networkmanager bug, but a kernel bug, because it accured when I upgraded a linux mint 9.04 to the new karmic kernel. I have tried to use WICD but even then it does'nt work. I also tested the stick in a true Karmic computer, and it fails too.
