To everyone subscribed to this bug (with the exception of The Founder), I would like to ask you to please file a new bug report describing your own issues. This report is getting contaminated with unrelated causes (but similar symptoms) and is making it difficult to figure out the issue at hand.
When you refile your bug, please include the following information: -Make/Model of computer -Graphics Card -Ubuntu version (i.e., Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Xubuntu, etc.) -A clear, simple explanation of what you see in the boot up process. -At what point does the freeze occur or does it happen after a particular action? -Note whether it is a complete or partial freeze (does the mouse move?) -Any additional relevant information regarding what steps you have taken to address this issue.
