Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm
Upgrading GDM removes customized GDM configuration. This configuration is now held in ~gdm/.gconf. After upgrading the gdm package, the ~gdm/.gconf directory is empty. Since the new gdm utilizes this area for configuration, upgrading the package removes customizations.
