Whats even MORE annoyming is that yall assume that if it works for ONE it works for ALL, and Im sorry to say that the entire linux userbase is rather upset due to the piss poor state of pulseaudio.
At least for canonocals' sake it would be prudent to look into it. I dont have an 'in' jack on my notebook. otherwise I might use the 'normal' headset. Both of these were working before, so I really dont get what was changed. Like I said, it works with previous releases. I said I couldn't quote 64 bit as I wasn't running it.some 64 bit users have had issues. i know its not the usb headset, as it works with anything before 9.10.[so do the ps2 headsets, though I DO recall a moment in time formatting my drive for OSX due to the inherent USB audio glitch permanently disconnecting the Playstaion2 USB headset. something about only slot available is configured, but it wouldn't work. required a reformat to fix. I think it has something to do with one of the updates above IBEX.
