Thanks for your bug report. Is the following correct?
You can play music CDs though the CD drive that is not plugged into the sound card, and you can not play music CDs through the drive that is plugged into the sound card? If so, can you please check that the "CDROM" track is not muted: Double click the volume control in the top right hand side. In the mixer window that appears, click "Edit" then "Preferences". Make sure that all of the tracks are ticked and press "OK". If you have a "CDROM" track then make sure the volume is turned up and that the button below the slider is not set to muted. If that doesn't work, fiddle with some of the other slides - one might have the wrong title. ** Changed in: Ubuntu Assignee: (unassigned) => Chris Rose Status: Unconfirmed => Needs Info -- Audio Tracks on CD play Digital Data Sound https://launchpad.net/bugs/86429 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
