Thanks for your bug report.

Is the following correct?

You can play music CDs though the CD drive that is not plugged into the
sound card, and you can not play music CDs through the drive that is
plugged into the sound card?

If so, can you please check that the "CDROM" track is not muted: Double
click the volume control in the top right hand side. In the mixer window
that appears, click "Edit" then "Preferences". Make sure that all of the
tracks are ticked and press "OK". If you have a "CDROM" track then make
sure the volume is turned up and that the button below the slider is not
set to muted. If that doesn't work, fiddle with some of the other slides
- one might have the wrong title.
