The error message that got my attention was : resolvconf: Error: /etc/resolv.conf must be a symlink This file was generated by NetworkManager during a 3G connection. After disconnecting I went to '/etc' and issued the command : # cd /etc # ln -sf /etc/resolvconf/run/resolv.conf After that the installation finished without error. # apt-get -f install ======= balhblahblah clipped ================ Preparando para substituir bind9 1:9.6.1.dfsg.P1-3 (usando .../bind9_1%3a9.6.1.dfsg.P1-3ubuntu0.2_amd64.deb) ... * Stopping domain name service... bind9 [ OK ] Desempacotando substituto bind9 ...
