just for the record, in the workaround startup script the last line should be: /usr/bin/liferea.real $* otherwise parameters won't find there way to the binary and stuff like liferea-add-feed won't work. if fixed the package in my ppa accordingly: https://launchpad.net/~bojo42/+archive/ppa/+sourcepub/896473/+listing-archive-extra
