Public bug reported:
Selecting suspend puts the system into suspend mode, but the screen
isn't powered down.
Expected: When suspend is selected from menu or by closing lid, machine
should power down.
Result: Machine powers down and goes into suspend mode without powering
screen down. - Screen goes blank, but stays powered on.

upgraded from Karmic Koala to Lucid Lynx
