I have similiar problems with ubuntu 9.10 and my Shuttle Barebone
SN78SH7 and the integrated nvidia GeForce 8200 graphic card: sometimes
the usb bus hangs up so mouse and keybord doesn't respond any longer.
When disconnecting it from usb bus, there seems to be no power on the
bus (optical mouse is dark).

Another great problem with it: sometimes the system hangs up completeley: the
screen changes in a text mode and it is full of colored blocks.
When rebooting it, the shuttle start screen and grub is displayed properly.
When changing in graphics mode again, the colored screen is displayed again and
the system hangs. After cut it from power for about 30 secondes everything
works fine again.

It seems to be a problem when the system is working with a high workload
(e.g. virtual box is running and several other tasks).

Nvidia has the same interrupt as usb2, but in the usb2 port there is no
device connected. How do I change the interrupts?

Here is my interrupt list and a lsusb:
